Anthony's collection consists chiefly of manuscripts of her poetry and prose. Anthony's correspondence is chiefly personal with comments on "the blues"; Mark Twain's "Roughing It" and Owen Meredith's "Lucile"; the death of Virginia football player Archer Christian in the Georgetown game,1909; and a 1925 train ride through Roanoke and Lynchburg and the "Good old darkey" maid. A 1929 letter to John Calvin Metcalf concerns her poetry.
